At Yoder’s Baking Company, we take pride in baking and packaging your cookies with care. Because our products are food items, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if something isn’t right with your order, we’ll do our best to make it right.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to food safety guidelines, all cookie sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges.
Refunds / Replacements
We may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion if:
- Your order arrives damaged (for example, severe damage during transit that makes the cookies inedible), or
- We sent the wrong item(s) or incorrect quantity, or
- There is a quality issue that appears to be related to our baking or packaging.
- Proof of delivery is provided by the carrier, but you cannot locate your item.
Reporting an Issue
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup so we can help.
When reaching out, please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos showing the cookies you received and any damaged packaging

If we confirm the issue qualifies, we may offer a replacement shipment, store credit, or a refund back to the original payment method.
What Isn’t Eligible for Refunds
Because cookies are a perishable food product, we typically cannot offer refunds or replacements for:
- Taste preferences (e.g., “not what I expected”)
- Normal settling in transit (minor cracking is common with baked goods)
- Orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout
- Delivery delays caused by the carrier or weather (see “Shipping Issues” below)
Shipping Issues
Once an order is handed off to the carrier, delivery timing is outside of our control. If your package shows as delivered but you can’t locate it, please:
- Check with household members/neighbors
- Contact the carrier with your tracking number
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within via our Contact page.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations are only possible before the order is baked/packed/shipped. Once fulfillment begins, the order cannot be canceled.
